NEC Social Robot developed specifically for human interaction for children and the elderly, and it provides language communication (including Cantonese, English and Mandarin etc), intellectual stimulation, self-care and behavioral training to enhance their social and emotional wellbeing, whilst enriching their interactional environment. Social Robot is also designed with dramas and role play training that tailored for autistic children and teenagers who have diverse learning needs and verbal abilities. The training programmes teach them emotional understanding and appropriate behaviours to improve their communication and social skills.
